@Brina: The mothers are I guess around 1 year old... On the pictures you see the babies on their first day!

Re: Unexpected Litter from rescued guinea pig
So a short update:
They are now a couple of days old and they are so different in their characters.
The black one is a male, crested AND SATIN!!! He is so shiny and his hair feels like velvet. He is more like the mother and is afraid of everything and everybody.

The grey agouti-white seems to get a little bit longer hair then it would be normal. Also it is a female and she is very tame. She comes to me and loves to eat!

Both weight at their bith day 110g
Second day 100g and now after 5 days 120g.
So they grow very well.
Here you can see the mother

They are both so cute. I love the black little satin.
Do they already have names?
What would you do? Do you keep them both and let the male castrate?
I think there will be no chance to find a vet for an early castration.

Re: Unexpected Litter from rescued guinea pig
They don't have names yet.
I will try to find a good home, I cannot keep all of them. But for the first weeks until I found the best home he can live with Schnitzel.
The female silver agouti may can stay. The only problem is that my second adult female also has a littler and she is scared of the other ones. So I need to figure out a good combination (or I need to build a third Do-It-Yourself cage).
