Dangeros Antibiotics

Some Antibiotics are toxic for pigs:
Penicillin
Ampcillin
Amoxicillin
Lincomycin
Bacitracin
Spiramycin
Streptomycin
Tylosin
Most of the pigs will die and will have a lot of pain after therapy with this drugs.

1 1/2 mounth after therapy with Clindamycin or Gentamycin some pigs will die suddenly

Erytromycin, Tetracyclin and Doxycyclin have a high risk of diarrhea.
I would give Erytromycin never. You have better alternatives.
In case of sone diseases your pig may need Tetracyclin or Doxycyclin-This antibiotics shoud be given as an injection. It`s easy to do this injection if your vet has teached you. Give your pig vitamin B and probiotics all the time it´s needing this antibiotics.
